  1. You really make it appear really easy with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be really one thing which I feel I might never
    understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very broad for me.

    1. Dear Friend, thanks for your comment. Forgive me if I made this difficult topic sound easy; for it is not. On the contrary, extending mercy to the one(s) who hurt us runs counter to what comes naturally in our flesh.
      With that said, the only motivating factor we have is the mercy of God, through Christ Jesus the Lord. You see, not one person deserves mercy, but that is exactly what we received from God. That doesn’t mean that a switch was flipped enabling us to be merciful toward those who have sinned against us. Rather, in clinging to the One who gave us mercy, we are not able to extend the same to others.
      To put it another way, on our own, it is impossible to be merciful. Yet, in Christ God promises to supply our every need. He promises to walk with us and comfort and strengthen us in time of trial. That’s our motivation.
